1Definitions

In this agreement, the following terms shall have the meanings below:

“Platform” or “Service”

The pvdesigner website and all its tools, calculators, reports, and services available at www.pvdesigner.org.

“User” or “you”

Any person or entity that accesses or uses the platform, whether as a visitor or subscriber.

“Outputs”

The calculation results, reports, diagrams, and visualizations the platform produces based on your inputs.

“Subscription”

A recurring paid plan granting access to the platform's full features.

2Eligibility & Account

By using the platform, you confirm that you are of legal age and have the capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you use the platform on behalf of an educational institution or company, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms on its behalf.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials (if any) confidential and for all activity conducted through it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3License to Use

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform in accordance with these terms.

4User Obligations

When using the platform, you agree to:

• Provide inputs that are as correct and accurate as possible to ensure meaningful results.
• Use the platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable law.
• Review outputs from an engineering perspective before any actual implementation, recognizing their indicative nature.
• Not harm the platform, its users, or its operational integrity.

5Prohibited Conduct

You are prohibited from doing any of the following:

• Copying the platform, its code, or its formulas, reverse-engineering it, or attempting to extract its calculation methods.
• Reselling the outputs or offering them as a paid service under another party's name without permission.
• Using automated tools (bots/scrapers) to extract content or overload the servers.
• Attempting unauthorized access, breaching security measures, or bypassing the payment gateway.
• Using the platform for any unlawful activity or to infringe the rights of others.

6Subscriptions & Billing

Prices are displayed clearly before payment. You may pay per design or via a monthly or annual subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each cycle unless you cancel.

You may cancel at any time, and the subscription remains active until the end of the paid period. Refund requests are subject to the policy set out in the “Terms & Policies” page. We reserve the right to adjust prices with prior notice on the platform.

7Availability & Changes

We strive to keep the platform available and stable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service may be subject to periodic maintenance, updates, or development of features and formulas.

We reserve the right to modify, add, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, while endeavouring to notify users of material changes.

8Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform, in whole or in part, if you breach these terms or use the service in a harmful or unlawful manner, without prejudice to any other rights.

You may also stop using the platform and cancel your subscription at any time. Provisions relating to intellectual property and limitation of liability survive termination.

9Warranties & Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and defend pvdesigner against any claims or losses arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the platform, or your reliance on the outputs without certified engineering review.

10Disputes & Governing Law

This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes shall be resolved amicably where possible; otherwise, the competent courts in Cairo shall have jurisdiction.
